Altruvia was founded in 2009 by legal professionals who recognized the unique challenges facing individuals and organizations seeking to establish charitable foundations in Thailand. What began as a small practice focused on foundation registration has grown into a comprehensive service supporting the full lifecycle of non-profit organizations, from initial establishment through ongoing governance and compliance.

Our founding team observed that many well-intentioned philanthropists and social entrepreneurs struggled to navigate the regulatory requirements for establishing legally compliant charitable entities. The process involved coordinating with multiple government agencies, understanding complex legal frameworks, and maintaining ongoing compliance obligations. These administrative challenges often diverted energy and resources away from the important work of addressing community needs.

We set out to bridge this gap by providing specialized legal support that allows organizations to focus on their charitable mission while we handle the regulatory complexities. Over the years, we have supported the establishment of more than 280 foundations and associations across various sectors including education, healthcare, environmental conservation, and community development.
